Stuart Davis is President of Surpass Insights Inc. and a 35-year banking executive with 21 years specializing in financial crimes risk management. Stuart served part-time as a Special Advisor to the Chief Risk Officer at TD until recently. Previously he was EVP, Global Head of Financial Crimes Risk Management and CAMLO at Scotiabank, leading the bank through an AML and sanctions regulatory remediation and the lifting of two US written agreements, and subsequently served as EVP for Internal Data Protection. Preceding that, he was SVP, CAMLO and Global Chief AML Officer for BMO, which he also led successfully through the lifting of two US written agreements.
Stuart has contributed to legislative and regulatory change improving information sharing and financial access in Canada. He has co-sponsored multiple public-private partnerships, most notably Project Protect, focused on anti-human trafficking; Project Shadow, focused on protecting children from online sexual exploitation; and Project Anton, focused on stopping wildlife trafficking.
He advises C&G on firm strategy, technical quality and report quality assurance, and institutional positioning.

Claudius is a forensic accountant and anti-money laundering specialist with close to two decades in financial crime compliance, fraud investigation and regulatory audit. He co-founded C&G Professional Services, which advises reporting entities in Canada on AML/ATF compliance, financial crime investigation and examination readiness.
He has led over 100 AML effectiveness reviews and gap analyses for entities regulated under the PCMLTFA: financial entities and credit unions, money services businesses and foreign MSBs, mortgage brokers, real estate brokerages and developers, dealers in precious metals and stones, securities dealers, and the other sectors brought into the regime by the 2024 and 2025 amendments. His reviews cover the full compliance program, from policies and procedures and risk assessment through customer due diligence, transaction monitoring and reporting to FINTRAC.
Before that, Claudius spent about six years in the AML practices of Grant Thornton LLP and MNP LLP before moving in-house as Director and Chief Compliance Officer at WFCU Credit Union in Ontario, where he owned the compliance program rather than advising on it. He began his career as an auditor with PKF International in Nigeria and worked as a forensic auditor to several consulting firms.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Certified Public Accountant in New York, and an alumnus of Seneca Polytechnic’s Fraud Examination and Forensic Accounting graduate certificate. He is based in Toronto, Ontario.
